Team #1 spent its last day in Romania seeing some final sights around Bucharest.  The following is a brief look at some more of the interesting features in the city.

(Heroes of the Revolution)

This cemetary is dedicated to those who gave up their lives during the Revolution of 1989.  Most of the people honored in this cemetary were young adults although there are some who are older, and even a one-month old baby.

The lake is the center of a beautiful complex in the Northern part of Bucharest which includes a botanical garden and recreational facilities. The team rented row boats, and began a leisurely ride around an island.  Then, the weather started getting rough...Actually, the wind came up making rowing back to the dock a chore.

(Arch of Triumph)
Built after World War I, the arch is an exact duplicate of the famous arch in Paris, although smaller.
