This is our first day of cleaning and applying lotion to patients at the hospital. Again this year, the patients are appreciative of any personal touch.  We washed the patients with baby wipes, put lotion on their dry, cracked skin and shared the Gospel with each and every one. We were able to tell one man who is near death about Jesus . That moment was worth the entire trip! A soul won for Jesus.

Later in the day we were able to purchase enough adult diapers to last for a couple of weeks. Now there will be patients whose dignity and skin will be saved by Depends.  Two patients will now have something to cover gaping abdominal wounds. Most patients are incontinent in both the bowel and bladder, and they cry when they have an accident. As a result, they will not eat or drink for fear of messin their beds.

Our dear Lord has truly blessed us by allowing us to love and care for these beautiful people, while at the same time sharing His love for them. We see Jesus in every patient we touch.

We are called by Christ to be living proof of his love to make Him known in every relationship.
