Dear Church Family:
We arrived safely on Saturday afternoon, although we were 2 1/2 hours late
due to an oil leak on the plane from Amsterdam to Bucharest. Just as we were
ready to leave the gate, they discovered the leak, and as a result we were
required to transfer to a different plane. The weather is unseasonably
cool right now, with the high only reaching into the mid 80s. Sleeping was
comfortable on Saturday night, and most of us achieved at least a few hours
of rest.
We had a wonderful worship service on Sunday morning, with Pastor John
bringing the message, "The Unmistakable Touch of Jesus". After lunch, some
of the group toured the People's Palace, some rested and Brad and Pastor
Daniel went to the mall to buy fans in case the temperature rises. We
will eat dinner at the food court in the mall, and Monday morning we take
the train to Sighisoara.
We will send more news once we begin our activities in Sighisoara.
