The team has settled into the city life of Bucharest, which is considerably different than the more quiet atmosphere of Sighisoara.

Monday and Tuesday the team was involved in a number of activities. On Monday morning Pastor and Kent travelled to the geriatric ward at St. Luca's hospital. This is where the local church runs a feeding program because the hospital cannot provide food for the patients.  In the mornings, we are conducting our basketball outreach on the courts at the National Stadium where we have been in past years. We are seeing many of our old friends, some we first met four years ago.

Mornings are also the time for VBS as the church. Penny, Leanne, Diana and our Romanian friends are bringing the love of Jesus to the beautiful children of the local neighborhood. Their planning and loving care is giving these children a wonderful glimpse of how much God loves them.

In the afternoons Doc, Leanne and Kent are helping out at a medical clinic run by the Hansens, an American couple who are both doctors. The clinic is state of the art, and our three team members are giving the Hansens valuable assistance as they prepare to go on vacation. We think Doc Steve is having withdrawals because he is seeing 5-10 patients a day, and is used to over 100 patients in
the gypsy villages :)  Afternoons for the other team members are reserved for relaxation and personal pursuits. This allows time to catch up with friends and take care of any business around the city.

On Monday and Tuesday nights the group was blessed to participate in a prayer walk with Bucharest Central Church members. Within a radius of 15 minutes walking distance from the church live 250,000 people. Yes, that number is correct. We were blessed and encouraged that God has a plan for every single person in this area. After the prayer walk we returned to the church for a time
of sharing, singing and more prayer.

Unfortunately, Pastor John had to return home on Wednesday morning as part of his travel plans. He has been a great encouragement to the team, missionaries and Romanian people with whom he has come into contact. His leadership in our daily team devotions with be missed, but he has provided us with enough devotions to last the whole trip.

Please be in prayer on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as we have three nights of revival at the Bucharest church. It should be a great time for people to open themselves up more fully to the Lord in order to better serve His kingdom here on Earth.

The team is catching up on sleep, and everyone is healthy. Thanks for your continued prayers as we enter our last week.

Blessings to You All,

The Team
