Hello to the Home Team. Today we visited upper Vinatore. It is called upper because you have to walk up to the church. We saw about 140 patients yesterday. One of our patients was in labor with baby number 12, but Linda wasn't so sure this was the right Maternity Hospital for the baby to be delivered. We had her family assist her in getting to the hospital. One had one young man give his heart to Jesus. He was our last patient of the day, so we all rejoiced together with him and his mother! Both Heaven and Earth rejoice over this one boy! The day was very warm and humid. We are praising God for the new gazebo/sun canopy. Some of the gals and Doug spent the day with the children face painting, singing songs, playing games and having story time. The other portion of the team spent the day tarring a roof for one of our translators, Magda, as well as moving commercial stainless steel kitchen appliances into the newest building of Project Romainia. The building compound is called the Tabitha House. It will become a Family Center for the town of Laslea. Our weather has changed now from warm, clear and sunny to overcast and rainy. We had a wonderful display of thunder and lightening in the late evening and throughout the night. We continue to see the grace, mercy and strength of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in everything we do.
Continue to pray for each team member,
as we have many "rookie" team members and they are becoming overwhelmed
by the sights, smells and experiences. We greatly need and appreciate
all your love and prayers. |
