Greetings to Our Home Team in the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We did forget to mention that Wednesday evening we shared our evening meal with Dorothy and Roberta at their house up in the Citadel. We had a lovely time visiting with them and sharing the love of Christ. On Friday, June 3rd, Doc Steve, Leanne, Val, Laurie and Linda went up to the House on the Rock to lead devotions for the students and Veritas team. Doc Steve shared some spiritual as well as practical thoughts for the Believers who are both national and international workers who live here in Sigi. Thursday night we were joined by a small medical team from North Carolina. We are sharing the house with 3 of the women. They brought a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and some non-medical people. Most of our team along with the NC team went out to Soard (Shord) to run the medical clinic. About 160ish people were seen. Our younger team members spent the day playing soccer, tag, and other games with the children of Soard, while the parents and elders waited in line to see the Doctor. Sandy and Chris spent the day up at the Citadel drawing and people watching. They had a time of rest, peace and quiet away from the hub-bub and noise of the village. Soard is the village where our beloved Elisabeta lives. She was checked out by Doc Steve. Overall she is doing well. Her right eye is doing well. We need to being praying for her as she is having pain in her left eye, and this is of some concern. Penny and Rod went up to see Elisabeta's family. They spent some time visiting and encouraging them as well. Elisabeta has grown, she is now 7 years old. She has excelled in school learning everything that has been offered her so far. We need to pray for her schooling situation, that God will provide the right educational situation for her so can continue in advancing her education. On Friday evening, the team went Patromichi's for brick-oven baked Romanian pizza. What a wonderful time of debriefing the day and fellowshipping together, growing more and more in unity. Once again we thank God for each one of you and your love and support. We so appreciate you daily prayers as we feel the re-strengthening and refreshing of God in each one of us.
