Laurie is a registered nurse, married to Rick with 2 children, ages 16 and 13.  Attends Packwood Foursquare Church.  Her hobbies are running, hiking, camping, and scrap booking.  "20 years ago while in nursing school, I told the Lord that someday I wanted to go on a missions trip and use my nursing skills for Him.  For years I have long to go, but knew I needed to wait for God’s timing."  What a thrill for Laurie that the Lord has picked this time.  She gets to go with her best friend Val and Doc Smith who she deeply respects and has had a significant influence on her life.
