The Olsons, Pattersons and crew, left early on Saturday
morning and made the 7 hour drive from Sighisoara to
Suceava. We got there around 2:00pm and were able to
spend about 4 hours with the family. Kara was able to
see her mother, grandma, 5 sisters, 1 brother, two
cousins, two nieces and two nephews. It was
overwhelming, but God worked it out. Many neighbors
stopped by and said they remembered Kara when she was
very young running around the village and they were
anxious to see her. We learned more about Kara's father
and siblings. They seem to be doing quite well. The
village doesn't look like much, but the house has been
upgraded since Ken, Jodi and Kara were last here 15
years ago. Compared to others in the village, they are
quite well. We were able to tell them about the
medical/ministry team we are a part of and how we are
helping people in Romania. With the help of David, the
Gospel message was told to all the family and neighbors
present. With much crying, we departed and took the
trip back to Sighisoara.
Thank you for all your prayers. It was a good time and
we are all very satisfied with the results. Be sure to
see the pictures on the Gallery.
